When and why was the team formed ?:

This team was formed in November 2025

Is there a reason or a story behind the team name?:

Yes, we are mostly made up of Irish nationals and the reasoning we called it FC Déise Náisiúnta

Tell us about your players, some nicknames and stories about their careers (on and off the pitch).:

We are all mostly Irish lads between the ages of 25-40+ and we all have a different path we went on in life but through a common belief we formed a bond and became a team off the pitch as well as on it

Honours won (if any) and what are the ambitions for the team?:

We have won nothing yet but our ambition is to grow and keep active and enjoying what we do whatever that is and wherever it takes us  

 

What is the best part of the league and how can we improve?:

We don't have anything to say improvement on only ourselves

  

What advice would you give any team interested in joining W.F.S., including finances ?:

Make sure you are committed to it and whatever players you register are committed otherwise you won't enjoy running around looking for a team on the day of a game, we experienced this already and have learned from it so that would our advice

Anything else you would like to tell is about your team?:

Yes, there is a common misconception that we are lets say not entirely politically correct individually in our Day to Day lives but we are a team that have each other's back and are community driven off the pitch and on it.
