08/09 Season

• The new season will begin on Monday September 1st & the fixtures have just been released ( check relevant pages ).
• Several teams have dropped out which means there is a large number of players unsigned. Click here for an online list of unattached players and also teams seeking players.
• All outstanding forms and fees should be returned without delay.
• Floodlit Soccer will be using the new Kingfisher pitch 3 nights a week in the 2008/09 season.

Fantastic Managers Prize

Kingfisher

The new Kingfisher pitch is proving to be a huge success with unanimous approval for the excellent playing surface. There is a few minor issues which will be resolved in time for the new season on September 1st.

Congrats to DFDS

Division 1 side DFDS won the draw for the 2 match tickets for the Ireland v Cyprus Croke Park World Cup qualifier in October. The prize also includes transport to and from the game.

Nuventus & Close Park expelled

Nuventus and Close Park and all associated players have been expelled from the Floodlit Soccer League following a culmination of problems. Players from these teams cannot play for another team until they have paid a percentage of the unpaid arrears.

Referees Assessors

Following a recent FSL referees meeting Paul Mooney & Keith White were both appointed as assessors for the 2008/09 season.
