How much will it cost to play?

The costs involved are very reasonable and can be broken down as follows. Every player must pay an annual Player Registration/Insurance fee of €20. After that the only cost is the match fee and every team has its own way of collecting fees but the 2 most common are:

1. €10 per player per game with any extra going into a team kitty

2. Split the match fee evenly between the number of players each night, e.g., €110 match fee divided equally between 15 players = €7.34 per player

Teams will be paying in advance from the start of 2008/09 and again there is a few options. (a) Full seasons match fees, (b) Monthly advance fees ( 4 games ) or (c) 2 match fees in advance. In methods b & c teams continue to pay each match night with their last 2/4 games paid for from the advance fees

Can anyone play FSL ?

The short answer is yes once they have registered. However the rules state that Waterford Junior League players can only take part providing they are 30 or over. A WJL player can join the FSL during the season once he registers properly and submits a written release from his WJL club.
